Heal the Child Foundation Uganda,is anon profit making community Based organization and dully registered.

This foundation was established  to help and support disadvantaged children, sustain livelihoods and human rights for the most vulnerable members of the community, regardless of their , race, national origin, gender, disability, religious belief or political affiliations aiming at raising the standards of living of the community as a whole.

Education is our first Priority because it is a key factor to National development. Our services mainly target orphans and vulnerable children; children out of school, the disabled who are unable to meet basic needs in life and affected persons.
The majority of literate Ugandans go through two basic levels of education i.e. primary and secondary schools and very few make progress to university and other tertiary institutions.
 
Indeed,this is in direct response to the growing number of children and young people that are orphans,abused, neglected and other vulnerable children.


Mission:
To provide School Fees Facilitation and Scholastic Material Assistance to the Orphans and Vulnerable Children.
Promote all income generating activities and peer group counseling to the young & youth.
To Promote Child Health Programs in the fields of Good Hygiene, Sanitation, Safe Water and Nutrition.

Vision:
To have an Educated and empowered community with Women,orphans and vulnerable children having potential rights.

Objectives:

       To assist  the orphans and disadvantaged with school fees bursaries & scholastic materials .
       To provide HIV/AIDS, counseling & sensitization to the affected and infected groups.
       To Help underprivileged women and young people to establish and maintain projects which will help them to generate income.

       To train home Based care facilitators of people living with HIV / AIDS.
       To promote Child and Women advocacy.
       To promote Environmental Protection and climate change awareness
